David John Noden

My beautiful, brave and courageous Dave passed away peacefully on 10th August 2026, holding our hands. We were together until the very end, surrounded by our little family. He was wrapped in love, tears and laughter right until his final moments.

Dave, the children and I will be forever grateful to the doctors and nurses who came to support us each day and made sure he was comfortable. The care we received from the Clatterbridge team in Liverpool and Wirral was truly outstanding, especially Dr Ian Lampkin (Oncologist) and Emily (CNS – Support Nurse) at Clatterbridge Wirral.

Dr Alison Coackley was Dave’s favourite consultant, and the kindness and compassion she showed him went beyond words. She was a real-life angel, and we will never forget her.

We couldn’t have had so much precious time together at home without the incredible care and support we received, and without my family, who held me and the children up when I needed to be strong for Dave.

Dave, you will forever be my hero and love story, the best Dad to our beautiful children and an extremely proud Grandad to our grandchildren. Our lives will never be the same without you, but knowing that you are now free from pain brings us some comfort.

We love you endlessly. Until we meet again.

Funeral service to take place on Friday 4th September 2026 at 10:40am at Chester Crematorium.

I’m so sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. He was such a lovely bloke who was always friendly, kind and a real pleasure to work with. He was one of those people who always made things that little bit better just by being around, and he’ll be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. My thoughts are with all his friends and family at this incredibly difficult time. I’m so sorry for your loss.
